If you were to evaluate solely on legal criteria the documents<\/b> of the European Court of Appeal<\/b> for OPEKEPE would not vote in favour of waiving the immunity of members of parliament<\/b>, Makis Voridis<\/b> said. <\/p>\n

Speaking to Open and referring to the 13 cases of lifting the immunity of political figures<\/b>, he noted that he would be negative<\/b> however, he clarified that he has not made a final decision<\/b>, as the debate has acquired a strong political dimension,<\/b> as members of parliament wish to be brought to justice<\/b> so that there is no shadow around their names, Makis Voridis<\/b> noted:<\/p>\n

“I repeat, my heart is closer to my legal status<\/b>… On the other hand, I understand my colleagues. I may not have to upset them… I will think about it<\/b>“. <\/p>\n
