The Foreign Minister of Iran<\/b> denounces the naval blockade and the resalination of a commercial vessel<\/b> as a violation of ceasefire <\/b>and warns of retaliation<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi<\/b> took a particularly high profile<\/b> stance, raising the tension on the geopolitical chessboard of Middle East<\/b>, as in a public intervention he denounced actions by the US <\/b>that he contends<\/b> directly affect the ceasefire<\/b> and freedom of navigation<\/b>. The Iranian official called the moves tantamount to an aggressive escalation<\/b>, linking the blockade limania<\/b> and the incident with the resaluation of a merchant ship<\/b> to a direct threat against Tehran’s national sovereignty<\/b>, while sending a message of determination<\/b>, stressing that Iran has the means and the will to protect its strategic interests<\/b> against any form of pressure or military aggression<\/b>.<\/p>\n

In particular, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi<\/b> said today that the blockade of Iranian ports<\/b> by the US armed forces<\/b> amounts to an “act of war<\/b>” and therefore is a violation of the agreed ceasefire<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The statement<\/h3>\n

“Blockading Iranian ports is an act of war and therefore a violation of the ceasefire,” Abbas Araghchi said in a post on the social media platform X, also denouncing the US forces’ retaliation against an Iranian merchant ship.<\/p>\n

“Iran knows how to neutralize restrictions, how to defend its interests and how to resist bullying,” the Iranian diplomatic chief’s message concludes.<\/p>\n
