{"id":2023,"date":"2026-04-22T16:46:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-22T13:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=2023"},"modified":"2026-04-22T16:46:00","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T13:46:00","slug":"the-13-members-of-the-new-democracy-party-voted-in-favour-of-lifting-their-immunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=2023","title":{"rendered":"The 13 members of the New Democracy party voted in favour of lifting their immunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With a broad consensus, the plenary of the <b>Parliament<\/b> has approved the <b>waiver of immunity<\/b> of 13 <b>MEPs<\/b> in the <b>OPEKEPE<\/b> case.<\/p>\n<p>With a broad majority and no group differences, the plenary session of the House of Representatives approved the request <b>for the waiver of immunity of 13 MPs<\/b> whose names are mentioned in the two new <b>documents<\/b> of the <b>European Public Prosecutor&#8217;s Office<\/b> in the <b>OPEKEPE<\/b> case.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<div class=\"embed-responsive\">   <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The <b>nominative vote<\/b> involved <b>288 MPs<\/b> (9 absent) and for each of the <b>13 cases the result is as follows<\/b>:<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the case of:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>K. Papakosta: in favour of waiving immunity 287 against 1<\/p>\n<p>K. Karamanlis: in favour 286 against 2<\/p>\n<p>I. Kefalogianni: in favour 286 against 2<\/p>\n<p>N. Mitarakis: in favour 286 against 2<\/p>\n<p>K. Tsiaras: in favour 285 against 2<\/p>\n<p>K. Skrekas: in favour 286 against 2<\/p>\n<p>D. Vartzopoulos: in favour 286 against 2<\/p>\n<p>M. Senetakis: in favour 286 against 2<\/p>\n<p>L. Vassiliadis: in favour 286 against 2<\/p>\n<p>Chr. Boukoros: in favour 286 against 2<\/p>\n<p>Th. Leontaridis: in favour 286 against 2<\/p>\n<p>Char. Athanasiou: in favour 285 against 2 present 1<\/p>\n<p>T.
