The HOSH <\/b>is being staffed and the planning for 2026<\/b> is for a total of 8,000 recruitment <\/b>medical and nursing staff, of which 5,000<\/b>are permanent staff<\/b> and 3.000 <\/b>are auxiliary staff.<\/p>\n
According to the Deputy Minister of Health Mario Themistocleous<\/b>, “at the end of this week or early next week, it is expected that about 850 positions<\/b> will be advertised for hospitals in the country, both in Attica <\/b>as well as in the region<\/b>.”<\/p>\n
Mr. Themistocleous, speaking to “SKAI”, noted that the participation in the calls for applications has already improved significantly, stressing that in the large hospitals<\/b> of Atika<\/b> there are now 6 to 7 candidates<\/b> per position, which shows a reversal of the trend that had been consolidated during the memoranda<\/b>. Referring to incentives to attract doctors <\/b>in remote areas and island<\/b>, he pointed out that in some areas up to \u20ac600 per month in addition to the salary is provided for 2.000 euros extra<\/b>, through the donation<\/b> of Stelios Hadjiioannou<\/b>, 1,000 euros net extra to the salary, while in cooperation with Regions and Municipalities, in many cases the housing<\/b> and, where possible, the food<\/b> is covered.<\/p>\n
For nursing staff, the Deputy Minister noted that the process for permanent positions<\/b> is also underway, while for auxiliary staff he clarified that those who have correctly submitted their documents<\/b> to the platform <\/b>will be recruited and that the platform will be reopened in about 15 days. <\/b><\/p>\n
Special emphasis was placed on Attica<\/b>, stating that: “Anyone who correctly submits their documents to the platform<\/b> for nursing staff and has a practising licence,<\/b> will be hired<\/b>.” At the same time, he reiterated that “From 2020 to date, those hired as auxiliary staff continue to remain in the system.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
