Yes, that’s what the head of the supposedly serious opposition said, showing that in the face of his anxiety about his political future he is willing to turn political life into an arena.

What did he say? That Pavlos Marinakis‘s answer to a question regarding whether MPs would be re- candidates is part of a deal, even expressing his view that this would happen even if they were convicted, but that this is nowhere to be seen.

Nikos Androulakis’ problem is that he is trying to put into practice the position of Polakis who called for prison political opponents to be shut down in order for Syriza to win the 2019 elections. It seeks to publicize the political life of the country in order to save itself politically. It chooses toxicity and populism to cope with the low poll flights, which continue, and internal party problems.

He is writing off Alexis Tsipras to face him in the battle for second place, choosing to appeal to the same audience as the former Syriza president who says he will announce his new party soon.

She points to the fact that the prime minister himself has called for acceleration of procedures so that MPs who have requested his immunity to be lifted do not find themselves at the mercy of court cases. And he disregards the presumption of innocence, not caring about the vilification of individuals, just as Alexis Tsipras did, who is now threatening him with a comeback.

It is now clear that Nikos Androulakis was expecting unfavourable developments in the ND Parliamentary Group. Possibly even an open clash with the Prime Minister to support the early election narrative, even if only to create rallying in his party.

The problem is that in the polls, despite the attrition of the ND, which is undergoing a war without limits, PASOK and himself are not gaining the slightest bit or are showing a subtle uptick that is lost with the emergence of parties like Alexis Tsipras and Maria Karystianou.

May: PASOK is currently doing to ND what SYRIZA did – and suffered together with ND – with the Novartis plot. Its executives were corrupted. Fofi Gennimata as party president did not put anyone off the ballot, no matter if Vangelis Venizelos chose not to run in the 2019 elections because of his disagreement with the late head of the then KINAL. And how could this be done before a process against political figures is completed? How is it possible for this party to raise such an issue and talk of a dilemma? And why hasn’t Nikos Androulakis himself come out to say that 7 members of his party, for whom immunity has been lifted, will not be candidates in the next elections?

Androulakis brings his panic to the political scene and raises the tone with extreme references to address his problems within and outside the…

[3

post-2369","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-politics
["GET
