The presidential couple of France<\/b> arrived at the Presidential Palace<\/b> for an official welcome by the German state leadership<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The President of the Republic<\/b> Constantine Tasoulas<\/strong> and his wife received the President Emanuel Macron<\/strong> and his wife<\/b> Brigitte Macron<\/strong>, shortly after 21:00.<\/p>\n

The French President’s arrival followed his discussion with the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis<\/strong> at the Roman Agora of Athens.<\/p>\n

During the visit, the Emanuel Macron signed the Presidential Palace’s visitors’ book<\/b> and had a private meeting with the Greek President.<\/p>\n

Then, they will attend the official dinner hosted by Mr. Tassoulas in honor of the French presidential couple<\/b>, in the presence of the political and military leadership, as well as representatives of the business world from Greece and France.<\/p>\n

It is noted that the Prime Minister is not accompanied by his wife<\/b>, who remains at Evaggelismos Hospital.<\/p>\n

In addition to the leaders, then, the following<\/strong> have received an invitation to the dinner at the Presidential Palace:<\/p>\n

The Speaker of the Parliament Nikitas Kaklamanis<\/strong>, Archbishop Ieronymos<\/strong>, Deputy Prime Minister Kostis Hatzidakis<\/strong>, PASOK President Nikos Androulakis<\/strong>, Finance Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis<\/strong>, the Minister of Defence Nikos Dendias<\/strong>, the Minister of Development Takis Theodorikakos<\/strong>, the Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni<\/strong> and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexandra Papadopoulou<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Governor of the BoE Giannis Stournaras<\/strong>, the Deputy Chief of the Armed Forces Dimitris Houpis<\/strong>, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Giannis Bratakos<\/strong> will be present at the dinner,Spyros Theodoropoulos<\/strong>, the president of the SEV Spyros Theodoropoulos<\/strong>, the chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee of the Parliament Dora Bakoyannis<\/strong> and the chairman of the France-Greece Friendship Committee Spyros Koulkoudinas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The French delegation is just as strong, with Defence Minister Catherine Vautrain<\/strong>, Economy Minister Rolande Lesquiur,<\/strong> Deputy Minister of State for European Affairs Benjamin Haddad,<\/strong> Culture Minister Catherine Pegard,<\/strong>as well as a team of advisers flanking Macron.<\/p>\n

Also attending the dinner will be former French deputy minister Chrysoula Zacharopoulou<\/strong>, Eyagoras Mavrommatis<\/strong> and Marietta Karamanlis<\/strong>, a member of the French National Assembly.<\/p>\n

The table will include market players<\/strong>, both Greek and French.<\/p>\n

From Greece: Evangelos Mytilineos<\/strong> (METLEN), Giorgos<\/strong> Koros<\/strong> (Salamis Shipyards), shipowners Thanasis and Panos Laskaridis<\/strong>, Melina Traylou<\/strong> (Union of Greek Shipowners), Panagiotis Theocharakis<\/strong>, Tasos Rosolis<\/strong> (Association of Greek Defence Manufacturers), the CEO of the Zolotas Group Giorgos Papalexis<\/strong>, and the General Manager of L’Or\u00e9al Hellas Alessandra Delfini<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From France: The “giants” of defence and industry, such as Pierre-Eric Pomayet<\/strong> (Naval Group), Eric Trapier<\/strong> (Dassault), Eric Beranger<\/strong> (weapons systems company MBDA), Stephen Bouzna<\/strong> (Euronext), Tierry Doe<\/strong> (Meridiam) and Nexans general manager Julien Hubert<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The evening at the Presidential Palace will not lack the intense aroma of art<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Among the faces who will be present will be the presenter Nikos Aliagas<\/strong> and the director Kostas Gavras<\/strong>, while confirmations from the iconic performer Nana Mouskouri<\/strong> and the actress Ariana Labed<\/strong> are expected.<\/p>\n

Significant representation is also expected from the Culture and Education<\/strong> sectors, as the Presidency’s invitation has been extended to:<\/p>\n
