Nikos Kotzias<\/b> was deeply disturbed by PASOK<\/b>‘s emptying of Charis Doukas<\/b>‘s statements in support of the Prespes Agreement<\/b>. <\/p>\n
A few days ago at an event attended<\/b> by Alexis Tsipras<\/b> and Charis Doukas<\/b>, the latter almost congratulated the former prime minister on the Prespes Agreement<\/b>, speaking of an agreement that was necessary to fight… nationalist passions. In fact, the Athens mayor spoke about the need for partnerships, tapping into the narrative of Alexis Tsipras<\/b>. <\/p>\n
Of course, all of this vehemently annoyed Nikos Androulakis<\/b>, as the Athens mayor not only went against the official party line on the Prespes Agreement but also winked at Alexis Tsipras<\/b> and a future collaboration. <\/p>\n
So from Charilaou Trikoupis it was leaked that what Charis Dukas<\/b> said was not an official party line while emphasizing Androulakis’s<\/b> dissatisfaction with the event. In fact, top executives expressed negative views on Charis Doukas<\/b> and what he said about the Prespes Agreement<\/b>, which the party had voted against, causing new intra-party friction. <\/p>\nKotzias’ anger and Tsipras’ message<\/h3>\n

Seeing the Androulakis leadership’s emptying of Charis Doukas<\/b> on Prespes, Nikos Kotzias<\/b> reacted strongly and attacked PASOK<\/b>. Let’s not forget that Nikos Kotzias<\/b> was the foreign minister who negotiated the agreement in the Tsipras<\/b> government. <\/p>\n
The former minister accused PASOK<\/b> of being a “peddler of the myths of the New Democracy” and claimed that Kostas Simitis<\/b> was in favour of Skopje using the name Macedonia. <\/p>\n
In fact, he writes that more and more… are seeing the positive side of the agreement while accusing PASOK<\/b> of aligning itself with the New Democracy<\/b> narrative and not knowing anything about diplomacy and foreign policy. <\/p>\n
Really how will they get along with Alexis Tsipras<\/b> when half of PASOK<\/b> executives speak in the worst terms about the Prespes Agreement<\/b> while the other half see the agreement in a positive light? However, it is said that the anger of Kotzias<\/b> was not accidental and that Alexis Tsipras<\/b> himself is behind it, who chose to defend the mayor of Athens. <\/p>\n
After all, Nikos Kotzias<\/b> is preparing for the former prime minister’s Ithaca, so the defense of Harris Doukas<\/b> and the attack on PASOK<\/b> have a specific target. <\/p>\n
