In his first statements since the security incident<\/strong>, Donald Trump called the White House as a moment of unity<\/strong> between the press<\/strong> and the two camps of the political scene. <\/p>\n

“I call on all Americans to recommit themselves, in a peaceful way<\/strong>, to resolving the differences. We must find solutions without tension,” he said. <\/p>\n

Starting press conference at the White House<\/strong>, about two hours after he left the event, reported that the exploiter<\/strong> passed through a security checkpoint<\/strong> with several weapons<\/strong> and was subdued by members of the Secret Service<\/strong>. He said a police officer<\/strong> was wounded by gunfire, but was saved thanks to the bulletproof vest<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Then Donald Trump reported that the suspect was arrested<\/strong>, and authorities also conducted a search of his apartment<\/strong>. He estimated that he was a person living in California<\/strong>, calling him a “very sick man<\/strong>“. At the same time, he pointed out that the disabling<\/strong> was carried out by members of the Secret Service<\/strong>, who reacted immediately<\/strong>. <\/p>\n
