Extension to the deadline for applications for the Social Tourism 2026-2027<\/strong> announced the DYPA, moving the deadline for Monday (27\/4) at 23:59<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The DYPA administrator, speaking to SSKAI<\/strong>, said that by yesterday morning about 200 had been filed.000 applications<\/strong>, while clarifying that the platform will remain open for all Taxpayer Registration Numbers<\/strong> until the final deadline. <\/p>\n

What this year’s programme provides <\/h3>\n

The programme starts on May 18, 2026<\/strong>, earlier than in other years, and will run for 13 months<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

A total of 300,000 vouchers<\/strong> will be given out, with a total budget of \u20ac50 million<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Note that the voucher<\/strong> is unique for each beneficiary and allows up to 6 nights<\/strong> in participating accommodation in the Providers Registry<\/strong>, with low private participation. <\/p>\n

Subsidy rates are increased by 20%<\/strong> during periods of high demand: <\/p>\n

  • in August<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • the Christmas<\/strong> (15\/12\/2026 – 14\/01\/2027)<\/li>\n
  • \n
  • the Passover<\/strong> (23\/04\/2027 – 09\/05\/2027)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Who gets a free holiday<\/h3>\n

    Beneficiaries can take up to 10 free nights<\/strong> without any private contribution to specific destinations, such as:
    Leros, Mytilini, Chios, Kos, Samos and Rhodes<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

    Similarly, in affected areas such as North Evia<\/strong>, Evros<\/strong> and Thessaly<\/strong> (except Sporades), up to 12 free nights<\/strong> are offered. <\/p>\n

    These applications are submitted through the gov.gr<\/strong>, by going to:
    Work and Insurance \u2192 Compensations and Benefits \u2192 Social Tourism Programmes (STPs)<\/strong>. <\/p>\n
