Meeting with the President of the Republic, Constantine Tasoulas<\/b> was held at 12:00 noon by the Prime Minister,Kyriakos Mitsotakis <\/b>at the Presidential Palace.<\/p>\n

The visit <\/b>of the Prime Minister<\/b> to the President of the Republic was held in the framework of the monthly regular briefings<\/b> of the Prime Minister<\/b>. During the meeting, the Prime Minister briefed Mr Tasoulas on all current developments<\/b> following the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron<\/b> in Athens.<\/p>\n

“It was a visit with special symbolism<\/b>, we reaffirmed the solid ties between the two countries<\/b>,” said Mr. Mitsotakis, stressing that Athens and Paris<\/b> share a common vision for the future of Europe.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Prime Minister noted that in the recent global geopolitical environment, “the Greek government<\/b> has done its best to support Greek<\/b> interests<\/b>.gr\/noikokyria”>households<\/a>, <\/b>always within the framework of fiscal rules.”<\/p>\n

For his part, the President of the Republic<\/b> spoke warmly about the cooperation between Greece and France<\/b>. “Our strategic relationship is proven by the famous clause of assistance<\/b>,” he said.<\/p>\n

“The policy of fiscal discipline and compliance does not distribute money unnecessarily and popularly<\/b>, but protects the future from frivolities,” he said. Tassoulas<\/b>, stressing that our country in the past “paid for such foolishness<\/b>.”<\/p>\n
