Technical discussions<\/b> are underway with the European Union<\/b> on utilization of resources<\/b> from the Recovery and Resilience Fund<\/b>.<\/p>\n
According to sources at the Ministry of Ministry of Environment and Energy<\/b>, the aim is, in the context of the forthcoming review of the Fund, to include the participation of the State in the capital increase of the ADMIE<\/b>.<\/p>\n
The proposal concerns the use of additional resources<\/strong>, beyond the existing programme, to the Public Sector to participate in the capital increase of \u20ac1 billion<\/b>.<\/p>\n This move is directly linked to the implementation of ADMIE’s Ten-Year Development Plan 2025-2034<\/b>, which has already been approved by RAEAY.<\/p>\n The successful outcome of this proposal, they add, will constitute a clear vote of confidence by the European Commission in the Government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the Ministry of Environment and Energy for the management of TEA<\/b>.<\/p>\n At the same time, the European Commission acknowledges and rewards<\/b> in this way the increased importance that the Government attaches to energy infrastructure<\/b> and the strengthening of domestic and international interconnections. <\/p>\n It is noted that some of these have been included in the Energy Corridors<\/b> programme recently announced by Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Technical discussions with the European Union on the use of Recovery and Resilience Fund resources are ongoing.
