The White House<\/b> spokesperson accuses Democrats and MME<\/b> for toxic speech that it says is linked to the attempt on Donald Trump<\/b> and violence<\/b>.<\/p>\n

In a climate of extreme political tension<\/b> following the attempt on the president of the US, Donald Trump<\/b>, Caroline Levitt<\/b> is steeply raising the stakes, complaining that toxic public rhetoric serves as a trigger violence<\/b>, while directly targeting political opponents and media figures<\/b> such as Jimmy Kimmel<\/b>, bringing to the fore the fierce debate<\/b> about the limits of political criticism, satire<\/b> and responsibility in public discourse<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The “rhetorical hate<\/b>” against President Trump<\/b> was pointed to White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt<\/b> as the cause of the attempt on Trump<\/b> at the dinner of correspondents<\/b> on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Attack on the Left<\/h3>\n

Levitt also took on the Left and Democrats for what they stand for, going so far as to claim that “the Left’s cult of hate against the president and all who support him” has killed and injured many.<\/p>\n

“Those who continually – and falsely – label and slander the president as a fascist and a threat to democracy and compare him to Hitler for political gain are fueling this kind of violence. The left-wing cult of hate against the president and all those who support him has caused the injury and death of many people,”<\/p>\n

The White House spokeswoman, who interrupted a maternity leave that had begun on Friday, claimed.<\/p>\n

“Given the attempted assassination of the president and top officials, I felt it was prudent to be here today,” she explained. “Democrats are comparing Trump to Hitler, those are despicable statements,” he said at another point.<\/p>\n

Angry announcement<\/h3>\n

But Levitt also took on popular host Jimmy Kimmel, about whom Melania Trump issued an angry announcement. “What sane person would say that a wife would be happy about the possible murder of her husband?”<\/p>\n

Levitt wondered about Kimmel’s comment that Trump “glows like a widow-to-be.”<\/p>\n

About the shooter’s manifesto, Levitt told reporters: “Ask yourselves how different is the rhetoric of this near-killer from what you read on social media and hear on various forums every day? The answer is there is no difference.”<\/p>\n

About Trump, the spokeswoman had nothing but words of praise to say: “Trump is fearless, he’s willing to risk his life,” she said, adding that “Trump’s composure in the midst of chaos, while once again someone was trying to take his life, was truly admirable.”<\/p>\n

The third major assassination attempt against Trump<\/h3>\n

She further claimed that “this is the third major assassination attempt against Trump in two years. No other president in history has faced repeated such serious attempts on his life.”<\/p>\n

“President Trump absolutely wanted to speak with this brave agent to make sure he was OK, and the agent assured the president that he was OK,” the spokeswoman noted, adding that the president and first lady are “extremely grateful to the brave members” of security who took action and especially to the heroic agent who was shot in the chest.<\/p>\n

But more than that, the spokeswoman told reporters that “the White House ballroom project is not just a fun project for President Trump, as you will read in the media. It’s actually critical to our national security.”<\/p>\n
