{"id":2856,"date":"2026-04-27T22:39:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-27T19:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=2856"},"modified":"2026-04-27T22:39:00","modified_gmt":"2026-04-27T19:39:00","slug":"adonis-georgiades-historic-strengthening-of-the-ekav-with-255-new-ambulances-and-permanent-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=2856","title":{"rendered":"Adonis Georgiades: Historic strengthening of the EKAV with 255 new ambulances and permanent recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-path-to-node=\"1\">The leadership of the <b>Ministry of Health<\/b> is launching a radical overhaul of the <b>EKAB<\/b> and the immediate armouring of its staff.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\"><b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Significant upgrade<\/b> of the operational capabilities of the <b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"56\">ECAB<\/b> announced from the podium of the <b>Bouli <\/b>the <b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"99\">Adonis Georgiades<\/b>, setting the timetable for the <b>arrival of dozens of new vehicles<\/b>. <\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">In response to a topical question, the Health Minister disclosed that <b>at the beginning of 2027, the integration of 255 new ambulances<\/b> will begin, which is the <b>largest procurement ever<\/b> for the organisation through the Ministry of Civil Protection.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">According to <b>Georgiadis<\/b>, the move will ensure a <b>extremely modern fleet<\/b>, drastically improving the average age of the vehicles compared to the previous decade. <\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">Alongside equipment, the ministry is also moving to <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"242\">strengthen human resources<\/b>, with an emphasis on the Volos and Larissa regions.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">As part of the briefing, <b>the minister presented the following data<\/b>:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"5\">\n<li><b>Publication<\/b> <b data-path-to-node=\"5,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"10\">258 permanent positions<\/b> for <b>ambulance crews<\/b> (sector \u0394E).<\/li>\n<li>Opening of approximately <b data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"16\">600 auxiliary posts<\/b> to <b>immediately cover needs<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>\n<li><b>Special care for Thessaly<\/b>, with new staff in <b>Volos<\/b> and <b>Larissa<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">&#8220;<b>I don&#8217;t remember ever before that so many permanent staff positions have been advertised at the same time in the EHIC<\/b>.
