{"id":2940,"date":"2026-04-28T11:13:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T08:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=2940"},"modified":"2026-04-28T11:13:00","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T08:13:00","slug":"gek-terna-strategic-partnership-with-airbus-space-defence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=2940","title":{"rendered":"GEK TERNA: strategic partnership with Airbus Space &amp; Defence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <b>Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding<\/b> (MoU) was entered into by the <strong>GEK Terna Group <\/strong>and <strong>Airbus.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>The aim of this <b>cooperation<\/b> is to <b>create integrated solutions in Greece<\/b> in areas such as military satellite communications and critical infrastructure resilience. <\/p>\n<p>The partnership is based on the combination of GEK TERNA Group&#8217;s extensive experience in complex infrastructure, energy, environment, digital technology &#8211; IoT (Internet of Things) projects, with Airbus&#8217; cutting-edge technologies and international expertise.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership favours the maximum participation of Greek industry and the technology sector, as well as the transfer of technology and know-how. <b>The two Groups look forward to stimulating innovation and strengthening domestic know-how, supporting the creation of a robust and competitive national ecosystem with regard to critical infrastructure protection and defence. <\/b>The start is made with the military satellite programme, where Airbus offers European solutions that guarantee security and national autonomy. <\/p>\n<p><b>The Memorandum of Understanding between GEK Terna and Airbus is a move of strategic importance, which aims to create long-term benefits for Greek industry<\/b>. It is fully aligned with the broader vision of GEK TERNA Group to play a leading role in vital sectors that enhance national resilience and promote economic growth.
