The increased traffic confirms that this is a programme that comes to fill a real gap in the daily lives of families,<\/b> offering an organised, safe and flexible care solution for infants and toddlers.<\/p>\n
The platform has been opened for the registration of custodians and curators in the Registry, as part of the universal implementation of the programme. The process is done exclusively online through ntantades.gov.gr using TaxisNet codes, and the application remains open throughout the implementation of the programme. Social Cohesion and Family Affairs Minister Domna Michaelidou<\/b> said: “The first day of operation of the Nanny Neighbourhood platform has shown in the clearest possible way that the programme is coming to meet an existing and pressing need in society. <\/b>The 13,500 visits on the very first day confirm the great interest of citizens. Neighbourhood Nanny is a policy that supports the family in practice, facilitates parents in their daily lives and creates a safe, organised and flexible framework of care for children<\/b>“.<\/p>\n
The programme is aimed at families with infants and toddlers aged between 2 months and 2.5 years<\/b> and allows not only professionals but also family members, such as grandparents, to register, provided they meet the requirements. Each caregiver may provide childcare services to up to three children at a time, according to the terms of the call.<\/p>\n
Special emphasis is placed on the safety and reliability of the program. Registration requires, among other things, a clean criminal record, the necessary health certificates, and a first aid certificate for infants and children. <\/b>For those who do not have a relevant certificate, the possibility of free training is provided through the HCV and the Hellenic Red Cross<\/b>, while for those who do not have a relevant degree, a three-hour online training is provided through the howto.gov.gr platform.<\/p>\n
The financial support for the action amounts to 500 euros per month for parents who work full-time or are self-employed or self-employed and 300 euros per month for parents who work part-time or on a rotating basis<\/b>, are students or are registered unemployed. These amounts include insurance contributions via an employer’s stamp.<\/p>\n
