{"id":3000,"date":"2026-04-28T15:34:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T12:34:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=3000"},"modified":"2026-04-28T15:34:00","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T12:34:00","slug":"mfaat-e22-7-million-payments-to-farmers-for-smallpox-and-foot-and-mouth-disease","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=3000","title":{"rendered":"MFAAT: \u20ac22.7 million payments to farmers for smallpox and foot-and-mouth disease"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-path-to-node=\"2\"><b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The launch of <b>payment<\/b> of <b>payment<\/b> of <b>compensation<\/b> by the <b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"100\">Ministry of Rural Development and Food<\/b>, which took place today. <\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">The move is aimed at providing immediate relief to <b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"226\">farmers<\/b> who have seen their flocks decimated by <b>sheep and goat pox and foot-and-mouth disease<\/b>, as the implementation of health protocols has forced the <b>death of animals to contain the epidemics<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, today a total of 22,757,594.65 euros<\/b> was paid to 849 beneficiaries<\/b> for compensation, as follows:<\/p>\n<p><b>Eastern Macedonia &amp; Thrace:<\/b> 3.961,430.00 \u20ac<\/p>\n<p><b>Northern Aegean:<\/b> 726,038.00 \u20ac<\/p>\n<p><b>Epirus:<\/b> 468,152.90 \u20ac<\/p>\n<p><b>Thessaly:<\/b> 8,061,654.60 \u20ac<\/p>\n<p><b>Ionian Islands:<\/b> 18.100.00 \u20ac<\/p>\n<p><b>Central Macedonia:<\/b> 9,291,862.75 \u20ac<\/p>\n<p><b>Peloponnese:<\/b> 14,590.40 \u20ac<\/p>\n<p><b>Central Greece:<\/b> 215,766.00 \u20ac<\/p>\n<p><b>Sinola:<\/b> 22,757.594,65 \u20ac<\/p>\n<p>The above amounts <b>were paid directly by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to the farmers<\/b>, according to the data submitted by the Regions.<\/p>\n<p>It is noted that <b>the payment of compensation for Western Greece will be made at the beginning of May<\/b>.
