{"id":3212,"date":"2026-04-29T17:12:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-29T14:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=3212"},"modified":"2026-04-29T17:12:00","modified_gmt":"2026-04-29T14:12:00","slug":"municipality-of-peania-in-the-antonis-tritsis-programme-the-regeneration-of-the-pendant-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=3212","title":{"rendered":"Municipality of Peania: in the &#8220;Antonis Tritsis&#8221; programme the regeneration of the pendant area"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The inclusion of the integrated urban <a href=\"https:\/\/tomanifesto.gr\/anaplasi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">redevelopment project<\/a> of the Episkopi stream side area in Antonis Tritsis program funding was secured by the Mayor of Peania Isidoros Madis.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project, which includes the redevelopment of public spaces and green areas of the Municipality of Peania in the 5<sup>th<\/sup> urban planning unit of the municipality, is funded with 4,738.000,00 \u20ac and will change the image in an area that occupies 22,947.41 square meters!<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;With the decision of the Minister of Interior Mr. Livanios on Monday, a multi-year effort is completed in the best way! The redevelopment of the coastal area makes the Municipality of Peania a super local destination while entire neighborhoods are upgraded, a total of 5 blocks of public spaces, for the benefit of the entire municipality&#8221;<\/em> said <strong>Mayor of Peania Isidoros Madis<\/strong> recalling that this project<\/em> &#8220;had been requested many times in meetings with the leadership of the Ministry of Interior and it was understood that it is of utmost importance. The fullness of time has now come so we are proceeding directly to the tender with the aim of installing the contractor as soon as possible.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>With the completion of the project, a network of exemplary public spaces for rest and recreation is being created, in terms of quality, functionality and aesthetic characteristics, which will become part of the everyday life of the neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>The study envisages a set of redevelopments, involving both infrastructure works and the installation of equipment, so that, overall, a comprehensive urban regeneration is achieved. The redevelopment will be completed by scraping the existing asphalt pavement and paving it with coloured blocks based on the technology of cold materials.
