The breadth of the difference, combined with the image of suitability for the prime ministry, shapes a political environment where government stability appears entrenched, while key opponents are unable to capitalize on contextual changes. Of particular interest is the fact that persons outside the front line of the opposition are recorded higher than the leader of PASOK, an element that brings back with intensity the issue of political influence and leadership dynamics in the Centre Left.

In the vote estimate, New Democracy maintains a 28.6% share, securing a 13.6-point lead over PASOK, which follows at a significant distance. This finding confirms that, despite the circumstances, the ruling party remains the dominant pole of the political system. At the same time, the prime minister’s image of suitability to lead the country remains strong, with a significant distance from his political rivals. In contrast, in the opposition field, performance appears fragmented, with no clear alternative to power, while individual qualitative elements of the measurement indicate internal weaknesses and limited penetration of the electorate.

Within this context, two findings acquire particular political significance: on the one hand, the consistently large gap between New Democracy and PASOK, which serves as an indicator of political dominance, and on the other hand, the image in the suitability for the prime ministership, where reversals and symbolic messages for the opposition leadership are recorded.

Digit gap consolidates political dominance

The 13.6-point gap between New Democracy and PASOK is not just a numerical finding, but an essential indicator of political stability and dominance. In an environment where electoral behaviour is characterised by volatility and an increased percentage of undecided voters, the maintenance of such a large gap confirms that the governing party maintains strong ties with the social base.

PASOK, under the leadership of Nikos Androulakis, is showing slight strengthening tendencies, but these are not enough to change the overall balance of power. The distance remains such that it does not allow the development of a dynamic alternative government, an element that is also reflected in the general image of the opposition.

On the contrary, New Democracy maintains a clear lead, which is not only limited to the voting intention, but also diffuses into the qualitative characteristics of the survey. This picture reinforces the narrative of government stability and acts as a factor in deterring political upheavals.

In addition, the trend towards coalition governments recorded in the poll does not seem to translate into a strengthening of a specific opposition pole. Instead, it highlights the inability to form a coherent alternative to the dominant political force.

Popularity: Sakellaridis over Androulakis and the message of society

While in the field of suitability for the prime ministership Kyriakos Mitsotakis maintains a clear and undisputed lead, the real political message for the opposition comes from the popularity measurement, where more complex and indicative trends are recorded. There, Nikos Androulakis, despite his rise – from 23% to 26% – remains low in the rankings, failing to turn this improvement into substantial political momentum.

The standout element is that Gavriel Sakellaridis appears higher in popularity than the PASOK president, confirming that appeal to the electorate does not necessarily follow formal party hierarchies. This is a finding with clear political symbolism, as it highlights that persons with a more relaxed or indirect political presence can garner a more positive response than a sitting party leader.

At the same time, the popularity ranking puts Mr. Androulakis behind a number of political figures, such as Zoe Konstantopoulou, Dimitris Koutsoumbas and the Prime Minister himself, which reflects his inability to establish himself as a dominant personality in the opposition.

This picture reinforces the assessment that the problem for PASOK is not only quantitative, but deeply qualitative: it concerns its ability to produce a leadership identity that resonates with society. And on this level, the Metron Analysis record serves as a clear indication that, despite individual improvements, the gap to be covered remains significant.

Metron Analysis records a strong difference between New Democracy and PASOK and negative qualitative findings for Nikos Androulakis in terms of …

[3

post-3253","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-politics
["GET
