“We have to respect MPs,” Thanos Plevris said, speaking to Parapolitika 90.1<\/strong> and the show “She and I”, with Thanasis Fouskidis and Stella Gantona. <\/p>\n

Asked about the post of State Minister, Aki Skertsos <\/strong>, which has caused reactions <\/b>in recent days, Plevris said: “Mr Skertso’s job is to coordinate ministries<\/b>.<\/b> And of course he can express a position as a public figure,” while reiterating that he is in favour of incompatibility<\/b> between an MP and a minister.<\/b> Plevris went on to say that MPs should only be elected by cross.<\/p>\n

As for the criticism of the “executive state<\/strong>“, especially after the letter of the five “blue” MPs was sent to the “New” newspaper, Plevris said: “The executive state is a reform that is wrongly personified. The aim is not to abolish the staff state, but to correct the wrongdoings.”<\/p>\n

Asked about the OPEKEPE<\/b> scandal, he said it had existed before and that it was not only the executive state that was responsible. “It is not possible for OPEKEPE to be the responsibility of only ministers, the staff state is also responsible. The prime minister has admitted this. It is reasonable to criticise the supervising minister of the day. No one is immune, but we cannot find one and put all the responsibilities on him,<\/b> he said.<\/p>\n

Asked about the law on same-sex couples,<\/b> Plevris said: “I respect it as a law of the state, but I continue not to support it.”<\/p>\n

About the Greece-Bulgaria-Turkey trilateral meeting<\/h3>\n

Then, Mr. Plevris was invited to speak about the Greece-Bulgaria-Turkey trilateral meeting<\/b> that took place in Athens: “This is a successful cooperation, especially in the last year and the reduction of migratory flows is noticeable.”<\/p>\n

Pleyris added that there is no mobility from the Middle East,<\/b>for the moment, while on the Libyan front, he said that we are still concerned, but we are more prepared on the structural side.<\/p>\n
