In a new crescendo of parliamentary graphicness, Zoe Konstantopoulou<\/b>, has decided to use the floor of the Parliament<\/b> as a field for yet another theatrical performance<\/b>. <\/p>\n

During the debate on an environment bill, Ms Constantopoulou<\/b> appeared holding her cellphone a href=”https:\/\/tomanifesto.gr\/tilefona”>telephone<\/b> in a desperate attempt to play an audio file<\/b>, which – she claimed – was about the Israeli army and the flotilla to Gaza<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Despite the remarks of the chair, Giorgos Lambroulis<\/b>, who pointed out the obvious, namely that “nothing is being heard, Madam President<\/b>“, she insisted on the familiar tactic of delays and tensions<\/b>. <\/p>\n

She even demanded that the proceedings be halted and her time be reset to zero<\/b> to ensure that the House undergoes the “hearing” of her device<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Once again, Zoe Konstantopoulou<\/b> has shown that she perceives the House not as a policy-making venue<\/b>, but as<\/b> a stage for activist hyperbole<\/b> and works of sensationalism<\/b>.<\/p>\n
