Sharp discomfort was caused in the government <\/b> camp by the aggressive characterizations of Nikos Androulakis<\/b> on the case of telephonic interceptions<\/b>.<\/p>\n
A<\/b>reaction<\/b> <\/b>was provoked today by the extreme expressions and the characterization “cowards<\/b>” to which Nikos Androulakis<\/b> had indulged earlier during his speech at Parliament<\/b>, on the occasion of the events that preceded the morning session of the Conference of Presidents and the developments in the case of the watching<\/b>.<\/p>\n
“The president of PASOK <\/b>continued his political downhill slide, and even from the floor of the Greek Parliament, using insults and toxic rhetoric<\/b>, which is no different from the cries of the extreme political forces. <\/p>\n
Referring to the issue of selection of presidents for three Independent Authorities<\/b>, spoke of “coup”<\/b> and “institutional aberration”<\/b>, completely distorting the facts,” the government sources<\/b> said.<\/p>\n
And they added: “”Institutional aberration” for Mr. Androulakis<\/b> seems to be the fact that for the first time the Parliament<\/b> proceeded to a public open call for interest<\/b> attracting notable candidates for the positions of the chairmen of the three Independent Authorities, even meeting a request from the president of PASOK<\/b>. “Institutional aberration” for Mr Androulakis<\/b> seems to be the fact that the President of the Parliament<\/b>, through this procedure, recommended to the Conference of Presidents, for the two Independent Authorities, persons of high standing and known value<\/b>“.<\/p>\n
“On the contrary, it is not an “institutional aberration” for the president of PASOK<\/b>, but an element of modern European democracy, that he planned in advance to torture<\/b> the top procedure of filling the Independent Authorities and even in concertation with the most populist forces<\/b> of the Parliament, as we are informed by the public squabbles that have broken out between PASOK and members of the extreme voices in Parliament,” the same sources continued, to conclude: “Once again Mr Androulakis appears below the circumstances.<\/b> We will be back soon with more details, not pleasant for the PASOK president<\/b>.”<\/p>\n
