Let’s not forget that a few days ago the president of PASOK<\/b> was celebrating the conviction of private individuals in the wiretapping case, but when he realized that the decision is not in his political interest, he started attacking Justice and the Supreme Court, confirming the downfall of Charilaou Trikoupis. <\/p>\n
After all, Nikos Androulakis<\/b> has been telling us for so many years that his phone was tapped via predator and finally admitted in his testimony that it was only an attempted surveillance, while the court decision revealed that no officials or politicians were tapped, only some individuals. And for this there is already a first instance conviction. <\/p>\n
As Dimitris Gallis<\/b> very aptly comments, it is legally untenable what Nikos Androulakis<\/b> said that the Israeli convicted of wiretapping should have testified in the Supreme Court, as there is no provision for that. Moreover, he wondered how the PASOK<\/b> chairman could say that the government is being blackmailed, while the accused have been convicted in the first instance by the judiciary and at the same time have not provided any evidence linking them to state officials. <\/p>\n
The well-known lawyer also recalls the impeachment motion made by Nikos Androulakis<\/b> against the government regarding the illegal cargo at Tempi<\/b>, which turned out to be a botched conspiracy theory. And in light of all this, he says that court cases do not bring down governments but ultimately expose the opposition. <\/p>\n
And he predicts that the same will happen at OPEKEPE<\/b>. <\/p>\n
In short, the well-known lawyer exposes Nikos Androulakis<\/b> and his attack on Justice, as the PASOK<\/b> president’s narrative is not based on legal arguments but on political ones: he interprets court decisions as he sees fit and treats Justice al a carte, depending on whether it suits his political narrative or not. <\/p>\n
After all, Nikos Androulakis<\/b> is a political leader who based his political path on the wiretapping case, and the more Justice sends his allegations “bucket”, the more panic he grows. <\/p>\n
