American President<\/strong> Donald Trump<\/b> said he will consider the new Iranian proposal<\/strong> for the Middle East<\/b>, after rejecting the previous one and his tough stances. <\/p>\n

Thus he said he would “study” Tehran’s new plan<\/strong>, despite having already rejected a similar proposal, accompanying it with threats of a tough response. <\/p>\n

The stalemate<\/strong> continues after the firestop<\/strong> of April 8, which followed some 40 days of shelling<\/strong> and rebellion<\/strong> in the area. <\/p>\n

An official of the Iranian armed forces<\/strong> assessed that a return to combat operations<\/strong> is possible. Talks in Islamabad<\/strong> on April 11 failed to yield results, with key points of friction being Hormuz Strait<\/strong> and the nuclear program<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

“I will soon study the plan that Iran just sent us, but I can’t imagine it would be acceptable because they have not paid an adequate price for what they have done to humanity, and to the world, over the last 47 years,” he said via Truth Social. <\/p>\n

Asked about a possible resumption of bombing<\/strong>, he replied, “I don’t want to say that. I mean, I can’t tell a reporter that. If they (the Iranians) behave inappropriately, if they do something bad (…) we’ll see. It’s a possibility, it could happen.”<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The 14-point plan <\/h3>\n

According to Iranian media, Tehran<\/strong> has sent via Pakistan<\/strong> a plan to end the war within 30 days. <\/p>\n

The plan includes withdrawal of US forces<\/strong>, lifting of port blockade<\/strong>,the release of resources, reparations<\/strong>, the abolition of sanctions<\/strong> and a mechanism for the Hormuz Straits<\/strong>. It also proposes an end to conflict on all fronts, including in Lebanon<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

There is no mention of the nuclear program<\/strong>, which is a key issue for the US<\/strong> and Israel<\/strong>, which accuse Iran of pursuing nuclear weapons<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Trump had already said the proposal did not “satisfy” him and reiterated the possibility of a military option. <\/p>\n

“There is a possibility of a resumption of the conflict between Iran and the US and events have shown that the US is not keeping any promise or agreement,” Mohammad Jafar Asadi commented. <\/p>\n

Pressure and military moves<\/h3>\n

Tehran<\/strong> says through the mouth of its foreign minister that “the ball is in the US court”. <\/p>\n

Trump did not seek approval from the Congress<\/strong> to continue operations, choosing to inform that hostilities have “ended.” However, the presence of forces in the area indicates otherwise. <\/p>\n

At the same time, it announced the withdrawal of some 5,000 troops<\/b> from Germany<\/strong>, leaving open the possibility of more. <\/p>\n

The war has caused thousands of casualties and a severe impact on the global economy<\/strong>, with oil prices<\/strong> soaring. <\/p>\n

The conflict continues in other forms as the US<\/b> imposes blockade<\/strong> on Iranian ports, while Iran restricts transit through the Hormuz Strait.<\/b> <\/p>\n

Finally in Lebanon<\/strong>, Israel’s military launched new bombardments, with casualties in the south. It announced that it hit dozens of Hezbollah<\/strong> targets. <\/p>\n

Also, inside Iran, the situation remains difficult. inflation<\/strong> and unemployment<\/strong> are putting pressure on society, while executions for espionage<\/strong> continue. <\/p>\n
