Niki Kerameos<\/a><\/b> has called Niki Kerameos<\/b>‘s Nikos Androulakis proposal for a four-day workweek<\/p>\n
“Androulakis’ proposal for four-day work is dangerous and leads with mathematical precision to lockouts small and medium-sized enterprises and layoffs of workers<\/b>,” said to SKAI 100.3 the Minister of Labour<\/b>, Niki Kerameos, on the proposal of the President of the PASOK<\/b>.<\/p>\n
The minister warned that with this proposal “many businesses will not be able to bear the costs and will close, while others will increase labour costs which will be passed on to the consumer<\/b>“. <\/p>\n
As Kerameos said, more than 90% of businesses have up to 10 employees.<\/p>\n
Referring to Rebrain Greece initiative, which aims to further strengthen the connection of Greeks abroad with the domestic labour market, the minister made it known that the next stop will be London<\/b>.<\/p>\n
The event will be held in the British capital on May 9 and will be attended by 35 major groups operating in Greece. The minister said that the previous similar event, held in the British capital, had been attended by 1,600 Greeks.<\/p>\n
Also, Kerameos made it known that during the years of the crisis 730,000 workers left and 473,000 have returned, i.e. 64%.<\/b> She also said that now the balance of those Greeks leaving abroad and those returning is positive by 20,000 more returns than departures. <\/p>\n
Referring to the work card<\/b>, the minister made it known that 2.7 million more overtime hours were declared last year, stressing that it has helped increase wages and uncover undeclared work.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
