Instead of the standard wording, which provides for <b>fidelity to the Constitution <\/b>and the laws of the Hellenic Republic, he made an <b>extensive political statement<\/b> with strong ideological and social content.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"685\" data-end=\"1065\">This choice provoked a <b>reaction<\/b> from the Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, who spoke of <b>&#8220;outrageous images&#8221;<\/b> and a disparagement of the swearing-in process. In a public statement, he argued that <b>the institutional oath <b>was replaced<\/b> by &#8220;<b>anonymity<\/b>&#8220;, stressing that the process <b>cannot be considered valid<\/b> without following the prescribed format.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1067\" data-end=\"1202\">&#8220;He has no place there whatsoever until he takes the <b>legal oath<\/b>,&#8221; he noted, raising the tone of the criticism.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<div class=\"embed-responsive\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"el\" dir=\"ltr\">This is truly outrageous. He hasn&#8217;t&#8230; pic.twitter.com\/eH2YB1xGuv<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Adonis Georgiadis (@AdonisGeorgiadi) May 6, 2026<\/p><\/blockquote><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1669\">For his part, <b>Petros Constantinou<\/b> chose to take an oath with a clear political stance, citing, among other things, <b>defending workers<\/b>, opposition to government policies, <b>war<\/b> and <b>genocide in Gaza,<\/b> as well as issues such as Tempi, Pylos, Palestine and social justice. His statement also included references to the <b>Resistance<\/b>, victims of violence, and calls for equality and separation of church and state.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1671\" data-end=\"1972\">According to the <b>&#8220;Subversive Alliance for Athens&#8221; municipal faction,<\/b> supporters and representatives of <b>collective groups<\/b> were present at the swearing-in ceremony, including Kostas Papadakis, Javed Aslam, whose asylum has been revoked by Lt.
