In this way, PPC <b>contributes substantially to widening access to culture, enabling people far from major urban centres to watch important performances of classical and contemporary repertoire.<\/b><\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tomanifesto.cachefly.net\/tomanifesto\/images\/placeholder.png\" alt=\"byssinokhpos-karpathos-1.jpg\" data-dpc-media-id=\"187645\" class=\"lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/tomanifesto.cachefly.net\/image\/large\/94\/byssinokhpos-karpathos-1.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>The action of live streaming of performances of the National Theatre in cooperation with PPC <b>started in Soufli, where on 21 November the performance &#8220;Faust&#8221;<\/b> was shown live from the Main Stage, based on Goethe&#8217;s play, directed by Aris Biniaris. The action <b>continued in Ithaca, where on 19 December the performance &#8220;Three Sisters&#8221;<\/b>, based on Anton Chekhov&#8217;s play, directed by Maria Maganari, was shown live from the Side Stage of the Chiller Building. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tomanifesto.cachefly.net\/tomanifesto\/images\/placeholder.png\" alt=\"tris-adelfes-ithakh-1.jpg\" data-dpc-media-id=\"187650\" class=\"lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/tomanifesto.cachefly.net\/image\/large\/94\/tris-adelfes-ithakh-1.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>The third stop of the action was <b>Kythera<\/b>, <b>where on 14 February<\/b> the performance &#8220;you have five minutes&#8221;<\/b> by Katerina Louvari Fasoei, directed by Pantelis Dentakis, was broadcast live from the Side Stage of the Chiller Building<\/b> by the Youth Stage of the Mikros Ethnikos. Karpathos was the fourth and last stop of the first cycle of the action, where on 27 March, World Theatre Day, the residents of the island had the opportunity to watch the play &#8220;The Cherry Orchard&#8221; by Anton Chekhov, adapted and directed by Hector Lygizos, <\/b>which was broadcast live from the Central Stage of the Chiller Building. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tomanifesto.cachefly.net\/tomanifesto\/images\/placeholder.png\" alt=\"tris-adelfes-ithakh-2.jpg\" data-dpc-media-id=\"187649\" class=\"lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/tomanifesto.cachefly.net\/image\/large\/94\/tris-adelfes-ithakh-2.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>The PPC Group&#8217;s General Manager of Corporate Relations and Communications, Ms. Sofia Dimtsa, said: <i>&#8220;Theatre is not only about those who are close to the big stages.
