Maria Syrengela<\/b> has launched an attack<\/b> on opposition<\/b>, refuting arguments for the establishment of a Commission of Inquiry<\/b> and commenting on developments in the independent authorities<\/b>.<\/p>\n
On the agreement<\/b> reached with the opposition on the heads of the two independent authorities<\/b> and on the philosophies<\/b> in which PASOK and Syriza<\/b> to support their proposal for a new Preliminary Investigation Committee<\/b> was mentioned by the MP for West Athens of Nea Democracy, Maria Syrengela<\/b> to OPEN.<\/p>\n
“The choice of the independent authorities needs 3\/5 so that the parties can cooperate for the final decision. It seems a bit tricky to me because the opposition is thinking like this<\/b>: “we vote for Ms. Sygouna, who is our proposal, and then to get along with Ms. Konstantopoulou<\/b>, who was shouting in the committee and saying “you were saying other things yesterday on the phone””<\/b>. These were recorded on camera in the House of Representatives. The Committee on Institutions and Transparency cannot be convened without an agreement since 3\/5 are needed. Agreement was reached for both independent authorities, there was no reason for both Mr. Hadjidakis and the Speaker of Parliament who represents an institution to say otherwise.”<\/b>.<\/p>\n
As for the Inquiry Committee on Arampatzi and Livanos<\/b>, Ms: “We have two proposals for preliminary investigations, one from SYRIZA – New Left and one from PASOK. If you read the texts of PASOK and the other two parties, it clearly shows<\/b> another attempt to use a case to build an agenda on<\/b> -this time- another Preliminary Inquiry without evidence<\/b>. And PASOK<\/b> completely unreasonably speaks of organized crime<\/b> while the proposal itself Syriza – New Left<\/b> states that “the existence of evidence or nuances of strong indications of guilt is not required for the preliminary investigation, but only the reporting of facts that are worthy of judicial investigation”. Besides the fact that the opposition has no evidence and sets up its speech on rhetoric<\/b>, it wants to turn the country and the political life of the country into an endless court of law<\/b>, an endless debate on criminal issues.”<\/p>\n
At the same time, Ms. Syrengela<\/b> stressed, “SYRIZA is using the same candy as in ’23 to say that there is a government in retreat while it is clear that among citizens, according to the polls, one in three say they want elections and eight in 10 talk about stability.”<\/b>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
