At the recent orcemony of Municipal Councillor Constantine from ANTARSYA<\/b> we saw once again how the traditional formality is considered a rather outdated – not to say outdated detail. Everyone swears an oath to what they consider sacred and holy -and let the oath itself end up being politically and symbolically directed towards the country that gives them public office.<\/p>\n
But why stop there?<\/p>\n
Now Mr. Duke would do well to pass all powers to the Municipality of Athens<\/b>, to end the “misunderstandings” about the Greek state. Since they alone decide how to take the oath, let them alone interpret the institutions, let them alone discover new political mores, let them, in short, acquire legislative power.<\/b>And let them vote on a law between the caf\u00e9 and the city council, just for the experience.<\/p>\n

If they make an oath of their choice now,let them make a law of their choice tomorrow<\/a>, they say two slogans anyway, put up a story and clean up.<\/b><\/p>\n
