In an interview<\/b> with Newsbomb.gr, Takis Theodoricakos<\/b> launched an arrow<\/b> against opposition<\/b>, accusing it of systematically cultivating toxicity<\/b>. <\/p>\n

The minister stressed that the strategy of tension pursued by the rival parties is not just a political disagreement, but a dangerous situation that can undermine the stability and course of the country.<\/p>\n

According to Theodoricako<\/b>, this toxic environment must be ended immediately. “The toxicity should not last long<\/b>,” he said, sending a clear message in all directions that the government is seeking a return to a more substantial and constructive dialogue<\/b>.<\/p>\n

As he says, “humanity is being rocked by two very dangerous, major wars with heavy consequences, which have terribly negative consequences for the economies<\/strong> of all countries, and this applies to Europe and of course to the Greek economy.” Therefore, as the minister points out, in order “to formulate and outline by all political forces, a national strategic plan for the next day of Greece this should be approved by the Greek people. And this can only be done through elections<\/strong>” he says. <\/p>\n

According to the Development Minister<\/b> the country is already in a prolonged election period<\/strong> with the opposition sharpening and escalating every day what it calls a “slanderous” attack on the government. <\/p>\n

Mr Theodoricakos<\/b> accuses the opposition<\/b> of using existing cases with lies, exaggerations and divisive attacks that are forming an extremely toxic and divisive climate<\/strong>, which, he stresses, “cannot drag on for long as it does the country no good<\/b>“.<\/p>\n

The Minister of Development<\/b> speaking on Newsbomb’s vidcast “Opposite”.gr, made no secret of his concern about the situation in the Middle East<\/b>, stressing that “if the war continues and the regime of uncertainty continues, energy costs will skyrocket<\/strong>, so that we will have to face much bigger problems than the ones we are facing today.” <\/p>\n

Referring to the measures<\/b> the government has taken, he said efforts are being made to stop the obscenity<\/strong> and that if these measures had not been taken, “the impact would have been much more severe for all citizens<\/strong>“. He even reveals that these measures are likely to be extended beyond June if the need arises.<\/p>\n

The revelation by Mr. Theodoricakos<\/b> that when he took over the Ministry of Development, he found that there were hundreds of companies<\/strong> that in the previous fifteen or twenty years had received hundreds of millions of euros<\/strong> from the Development Law to make investments<\/strong> and did not do so<\/strong>, which he describes as illegal, morally scandalous and unacceptable<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

According to the minister, 120 million euros<\/strong> have already been returned. “We are chasing and will get back every last euro.<\/strong> You cannot be in charge of a ministry and not do everything to ensure that every last euro is properly managed. We have already got back 120 million euros. We will continue. What the law provides. We want to convince citizens that we care about the last euro of every citizen<\/b>,” he says.<\/p>\n

As for the polls<\/strong> and the upcoming elections<\/b>, Mr. Theodoricakos<\/b> expresses the assessment that “we will rub our eyes<\/b>” and that the crucial thing is what will be the main dilemma that will dominate<\/strong> in Greek society. <\/p>\n

Finally, he calls “a mistake<\/b>” a possible move by Antonis Samaras<\/strong> while for Alexis Tsipras<\/strong> for whom he expects to challenge for second place from PASOK<\/b>, stressing that he has not made a successful restart.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
