According to judicial sources, the decision was based on the age of the 71-year-old<\/b> former president, who has faced a number of legal entanglements<\/b> since his tenure as president of France. <\/p>\n
Despite the fact that he continues to “deny all charges in all cases<\/b>“, the convictions that have piled up create an unprecedented backdrop for the country’s political annals.<\/p>\n
