The political debate over the 4-day workweek<\/strong> issue continues, with Adonis Georgiadis<\/strong> launching a particularly sharp attack on Nikos Androulakis. <\/p>\n

The Health Minister, commenting on the recent statements of the president of PASOK, appeared strongly annoyed by what Charilaou Trikoupis proposes for the labour market and did not hide his ironic mood. <\/p>\n

Speaking publicly on the issue, Adonis Georgiades said, “After having us for two and a half years for the wiretaps, he decided to make his first government proposal for a 4-day job without a pay cut,” he said. <\/p>\n

When he heard this, he said “I disagree but at least we should talk about a political proposal, let’s discuss it,” he then added. “They don’t spend 24 hours and issue a statement against him, the Chamber of Economy and Industry with Mr. Hadjitheodosiou as president and the GSEE with Mr. Kavvadas as president, both PASOK,” he said. <\/p>\n

“As it turned out, Mr. Androulakis had not even called these two people,” Adonis Georgiades said. “Mr. Androulakis? Is it possible for your people to call you names? You should try to do it. Not even George Papandreou when he went to put the chain on the bike and had taken the spinning wheel had been so embarrassed.” <\/p>\n

Adonis Georgiades: Tsipras will be second, Androulakis grumbles all day <\/h3>\n

Asked to make his assessment of which party will be second, the Health Minister said: “Mr Tsipras will be second, don’t discuss it,” explaining that in the end people vote for a person and that Mr Tsipras has a glow while Mr Androulakis is grumpy and grumbles all day. The Health Minister also said that Tsipras and PASOK have a common audience and if the former Prime Minister comes second in the elections then PASOK will retreat to 4th place. <\/p>\n

“There are people from both the right and the left who seek chaos. And Ms Karystianou is in the pool of those who want chaos,” the health minister concluded. <\/p>\n
