Unprecedented participation by Greeks from the UK and neighbouring countries in the seventh, in a row, extroversion event of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The event took place yesterday, Saturday (9\/5) in London, with the participation of 35 leading business groups<\/strong> active in the Greek labour market.<\/p>\n

The aim of “Rebrain Greece”<\/strong>is to highlight the significant professional opportunities and prospects that now exist in Greece and to present the completely different reality that currently prevails in the Greek labour market, than the one experienced by Greeks who left our country in previous years and especially during the crisis, in order to consider the possibility of returning to our country.<\/p>\n

During the event, 3.107 people<\/strong> had the opportunity to conduct interviews with representatives of 35 business groups<\/strong> looking for executives and to learn about the career prospects offered by the Greek labour market today, as well as about the incentives for repatriation provided by the state.<\/p>\n

The Minister of Labour and Social Security, Niki Kerameos<\/strong>, presented the new data applicable in the Greek labour market, analysing the modern labour and economic conditions that have been formed in Greece today, as well as the dynamics that our country has developed in attracting Greeks living abroad in recent years.<\/p>\n

According to official data from Eurostat<\/strong>, over the last 10-15 years, 730 people have left the country.000 citizens<\/strong> while 473,000<\/strong> have returned, which translates into a reversal of the brain drain<\/strong> by 64%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As Ms Kerameos<\/strong> said: “This is the sixth event in a row for Rebrain Greece and the large turnout of Greeks from the UK and neighbouring countries is very gratifying and satisfying. It is also a vindication for the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, which has turned the “Rebrain Greece” extroversion action into an institution, identical to repatriation. We continue our uninterrupted effort to inform our compatriots about the new reality that has shaped the Greek market and we have an important ally in this project 35 of the most important companies<\/strong> operating in our country. Their presence here, combined with today’s record attendance, is a vote of confidence that we will continue to work tirelessly to try to repatriate as many Greeks as possible who left during the years of the crisis, as our country is now an attractive business destination and we seek to bring back to Greece as many of our compatriots as we can.”<\/p>\n

The event was attended by 35 business groups<\/strong> that are looking for qualified executives and are active in sectors, such as the construction and technical sector, technology<\/strong>, artificial intelligence<\/strong>, research and development (R&D<\/strong>), information technology, industry and manufacturing, finance and banking, energy, insurance, legal professions, shipping, consultancy, telecommunications, media and media media<\/strong>, tourism and hospitality, pharmaceuticals and medical and health care.<\/p>\n

The event was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Labour Konstantinos Karagounis<\/strong>, the Secretary General of Labour Relations Nikos Milapidis<\/strong>, the Ambassador of Greece to the United Kingdom Ioannis Tsaousis<\/strong> and the Director-General for Labour Relations, Health, Safety and Inclusion at Work, Konstantinos Agrapidas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
