We say that there are many polls, we say that on the intention to vote there yes we are judged and we say that those who comment on them have a one-sided attitude, they only say that it suits the government – I am talking about certain analysts – and they always hide that element that does not suit the government.”

And he made no secret of his irritation at PASOK‘s numbers in the polls, saying they should not influence society and that there should be order in their presentation: “I think it is wrong for public opinion to be influenced solely by the polls. There should be an order in the way polls are conducted.”

Continued controversy

However, it is not only Thanasis Glavinas who is hammering the polls because they do not benefit PASOK. Other executives are moving in the same line, showing that this is probably a party line.

Alexandros Alexandrakis has been appointed by the leadership of Nikos Androulakis as a member of the organizational planning department and even in the communications department.

This executive, who is involved in the party’s communication therefore what he writes on social media is not accidental, in an online post he claims that polling companies are… instruments of unreliability and that the government through them manipulates citizens.

Exactly what SYRIZA of Alexis Tsipras and his toxic trolls were saying in 2023 with the known results. In fact, the PASOK executive directly disputes the polls, posting a graphic that speaks of a “big fraud”.

Instead of thinking about why society doesn’t trust PASOK and Nikos Androulakis, they decided that an invisible system is to blame that moves all, but all, the companies to show PASOK low and New Democracy high. It would be interesting to see a response from SEDEA, the association of measurement companies, to the attack on them by the Charilaou Trikoupis executive.

And especially go tell PASOK if this approach is also the view of the leadership. Because instead of looking at what they are doing wrong and why they are not convincing, they decided to take on everyone else.

And that indeed is a surefire strategy to leave the needle unsaid.

Here’s the relevant post:

<p

As the needle won’t come off, some PASOK members have started to mess with the polls, such as Thanasis Glavinas and …

[3

post-4871","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-politics
["GET
