A comparison between what he did, what he said to hijack the vote in 2015 and what he is saying again today leaves no doubt about the past, present and future.

Why it is Mr Tsipras who with law 4354/2015 brought foreign funds to Greece and with law 4472/2017 handed over the management of loans (both performing and non-performing), as well as immunity for their executives.

And if there is the slightest doubt about the issue of immunity, that law was clear: “Those who by law or by operation of law have custody or in any way manage the property of a credit or financial institution (in whole or in part or only for a certain transaction) shall not be subject to criminal and civil liability for acts or omissions which they commit for the purpose of restructuring or cancelling loans, debts or debts.”

This is the same man who, with Law 4549/2018, allowed foreign funds to be based outside Greece. The same man who with law 4472/2017 brought electronic auctions. The same one who with Law 4549/2018 allowed banks to inform borrowers that they sold their loan to a foreign fund with a simple email or SMS and without any longer having to give a 12-month notice. The same man who with Law 4512/2018 gave the green light to accelerate the resumption of auctions – from 30 to 8 days. He was also the same man when he called the funds “ravens of destruction”, promising “seismic activity”.

What he said before he voted with both hands (one his, one Kammenos’) confirms the man’s unreliability. It’s obvious that when Syriza said “no house in the hands of a banker” he meant it: After the recapitalization of the banks and after the deal with the lenders in the basements of Hilton, banks and property went straight into the hands of the “speculative funds”, the famous “crows” they used to denounce.

For the sake of propaganda, in the law passed on 15 December 2015 in the Chamber of Deputies – and even under the emergency procedure – there were baptisms again and the funds were called “companies”.
