The new independent way of taxing<\/b> the on-call payments of doctors<\/b> was mentioned by Adonis Georgiades<\/b>.<\/p>\n

In particular, in a post on X, Health Minister<\/b> explained that doctors have a “large and substantial tax cut due to being subject to a lower tax scale<\/b>“.<\/p>\n

“It leads to a substantial increase in the income of Doctors of the EESY<\/b>. Perhaps the biggest and most substantial reform we have made<\/b>,” Georgiades<\/b> noted in his post on the implementation of the law.<\/p>\n

“After the implementation of our law on the self-taxation of the income of NHS doctors from on-call duties, a large and substantial tax reduction has resulted for all of them, both independently and due to their inclusion in a lower tax scale since these incomes are not counted in their general income.<\/p>\n
