The PASOK issued a statement in response to Health Minister Adonis Georgiades<\/b>‘s allegations about property of the family of Nikos Androulakis<\/b> leased by the Greek Public sector,<\/b> even announcing an appeal to the judiciary.<\/p>\n
In its statement, the PASOK argues that the leasing of the property<\/b> was absolutely legal<\/b> and through competitive bidding procedures. As it says, the property was initially leased in 2004<\/b>to the State Land Service of the State after a tender with ten bids and was used by the Police<\/b>, while in 2010 it was leased again by the Katematology<\/b> through a new tender with eight bids.<\/p>\n
At the same time, it notes that at no time did Nikos Androulakis<\/b> receive money from the State<\/b> for renovation<\/b> of the property, clarifying that the work was carried out by the tenant for the operational needs of the service. He also stresses that the contracts<\/b> were renewed in 2022 and 2024 under the New Republic government.<\/p>\n
In response to the reports about bank accounts abroad,<\/b> Charilaou Trikoupis clarifies that Nikos Androulakis’ accounts in Brussels<\/b> were opened during his tenure in the Euroboule<\/b>, have been declared for several years and recorded in the property declarations.<\/p>\n
The PASOK speaks of a “contract of political assassination” against the party’s chairman and clarifies that Nikos Androulakis will proceed to all legal actions against Adonis Georgiades<\/b> and those who reproduce what it calls false allegations.<\/p>\n
