US President Donald Trump<\/b> meets again today in Beijing with his Chinese counterpart Chi Jinping<\/b> on the second and final day of official visit by the White House occupant to the Asian giant.<\/p>\n
Mr. Xi greeted Mr. Trump with a handshake at the Gardens of Zhongnanhai<\/b>, a complex where Chinese leaders reside alongside the Forbidden City.<\/p>\n
Donald Trump is expected to depart this afternoon (local time).<\/p>\n
The US president said today that he would feel better<\/b> if the US got their hands on Iran’s highly enriched uranium<\/b>, something he would like “more for communication purposes”.<\/p>\n
“I would rather have it. I would feel better if I had it (…) but I think more for communication purposes than anything else,” he said during an interview with Fox News television network in Beijing. “What we could do is bomb again<\/b>,” he added, apparently referring to the US bombing of three Iranian nuclear facilities in June 2025.<\/p>\n
He asserted today from China that Beijing intends to buy oil and agricultural products from the US<\/b>, without mentioning specific quantities.<\/p>\n
“They want to buy oil from the United States,” said the Republican president, who avoided going into further detail but noted that the “idea” “pleases” his counterpart Xi Jinping.<\/b><\/p>\n
