With the central theme “Together for Greece 2030”<\/b>, the 16th Regular Conference of New Democracy at the Metropolitan Expo.<\/p>\n
The opening of the Congress will be declared by the President of the Organizing Committee Theodoros Roussopoulos<\/b>, while on 19.25, the Prime Minister and President of the New Democracy Kyriakos Mitsotakis will speak at the opening of the conference.<\/p>\n
On Saturday 16 May<\/b>, at 11.30, the Prime Minister will participate in a panel discussion on artificial intelligence as part of the Conference.<\/p>\n
On Sunday 17 May<\/b>, at 12.05, the Prime Minister will speak at the closing of the Conference.<\/p>\n
On Saturday 16 May, speeches will be delivered by the Director General of the New Democracy Giannis Smyrlis<\/b>, the President of the European People’s Party Manfred Weber<\/b> and the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides<\/b>, the general secretary of the Parliamentary Group, the party’s vice-presidents Kostis Hatzidakis and Adonis Georgiades<\/b> and the rapporteur of the New Democracy in the Constitution Revision Committee, Euripides Stylianides.<\/b><\/p>\n
Representatives of European Union states, representatives of the European People’s Party and the European Parliament, as well as representatives of other parties of the Greek Parliament will address the conference. <\/p>\n
Alongside, on the second day of the Conference, the participants will make presentations on eight thematic sections, which are: “Social State for all – New perspectives and opportunities”, “Strong Greece”, “Strong Economy – Strong Greece”, “Greece a destination for all – Major projects & infrastructure”, “Modern State for all”, “Safe Greece”, “With the young people we build the Greece of the future” and “2030: Greece strong, New Democracy ahead”.<\/b><\/p>\n
On Sunday 17 May, speeches will be delivered by the Secretary of the Political Committee Stelios Kontadakis<\/b>, the Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism Apostolos Tzitzikosta<\/b>, and the Secretary General of the European People’s Party Dolors Montserrat<\/b>, the President of the House of Representatives of Cyprus and of the Democratic Rally Anita Demetriou<\/b> and the President of the Organising Committee Theodoros Roussopoulos, while the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola<\/b> and the former President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker will address the meeting.<\/b><\/p>\n
The conference will feature pavilions of foreign institutions that have a long-standing cooperation with the New Democracy (Konrad-Adenauer, Wilfried Martens, Hanns Seidel), a pavilion of the European People’s Party, the Institute for Democracy Constantine Karamanlis (IDK), as well as two pavilions of start-ups in the field of artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
