The bust of archivist Giorgos Liggeridis, who was murdered while on duty during incidents in Renti, vandalized by unknown persons, once again, with black paint.<\/p>\n

Jiorgos Liggeridis<\/b> moved all of Greece and a bust was made in his honor in Thessaloniki<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Who could have imagined that there would be someone or some people who would vandalize<\/b> with paint<\/b> and slogans the bust<\/b> erected in memory of the tortured child<\/b> whose loss plunged Greece into mourning.<\/p>\n

A monument created to honour his memory, contribution and sacrifice<\/b> was the target of an act that offends not only the family, but the entire society<\/b>. <\/p>\n

The case was reported, via a publication, by his mother, Eugenia Stratou – Liggeridou<\/b>, who commented on the recaptured sad “feat” saying “And they continue their action undisturbed …”.<\/p>\n
