The contract that the Androulakis family receives is 10,000 euros a month,” Georgiades initially told Action 24 about Nikos Androulakis’ statement that he receives 1,000 euros a month on average after tax. “In an attempt to downplay the case he told a big lie. The essence of the case is that during the PASOK government, the father and son Androulakis, both high-ranking members of PASOK, received a contract from the government of the time (in 2009),” the health minister continued.

He then highlighted Androulakis’ second lie, noting: “It is also a lie that the lease was decided under the Karamanlis government and the Land Registry implemented this decision. The 2009 elections were held in early October, the contract was signed by the Land Registry in April 2010 and the committee that rejected the cheapest bid was held in October 2009. No Karamanlis government as he falsely says completed the process. And I am surprised that he lies so much on television.”

Adonis Georgiades informed that “the evaluation committee approved the four bids, of which the fourth bid of Mr Androulakis was the cheapest, rejecting the fifth which was significantly cheaper.” And he explained, for people to understand, as he said: “Androulakis gave a price of 10,500 euros and the one they cut during the PASOK government gave 7,500 euros. So under the PASOK government, a major member of the Heraklion prefecture won a contract from the state. We obviously have favor of the Androulakis family.”

He continued by noting other lies: “The PASOK chairman has started with a series of lies: he said he had been renting since 2004. I don’t know, but it doesn’t add up here: if there was a previous contract with the land registry in 2004, why was the tender held in 2009 and 2010? If it was in another agency, it is irrelevant to what we are discussing. I also hear the following: Androulakis says, the first contract was not in 2010, it was in 2004. The election then was in March, was the contract he got in 2004 done before the election? Let him show us, because if he got the contract before Simitis left, even worse for him. Since he alone says that there was a previous contract, what month and by what procedure?”

He also clarified that “I have no intention of taking Androulakis to court. I did say, however, that he can’t wag his finger He’s a deep-pocketed, one million here and one million there, and now he’s in pain for the poor Greek. Right now two leaders have charged me with leading a criminal organization for their political assassination: Androulakis and Constantopoulou. The Androulakis family and Mr. Androulakis personally receives 10,000 euros per month from the state. To me it is morally unacceptable for a feeble-minded prime minister and leader of the opposition.”

Answers to what Nikos Androulakis claimed on Thursday night about the property he leased for a non-negligible amount a month ago…

[3

post-5634","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-politics
["GET
