Brent is trading at multi-month highs, investors are watching developments<\/b> in the global supply chain with increased nervousness<\/b> and the fuel market in Greece is already starting to come under intense pressure<\/b>. Fears of supply restriction, tanker attacks and military escalation scenarios are adding to the bullish rally<\/b>, with analysts warning that gasoline and oil prices could rise even further in the coming days<\/b>, affecting households, transport and businesses<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Sharp uncertainty prevails in international energy markets<\/b> as the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz continues to affect oil movement<\/b> and intensify concerns about global supply<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Efforts to de-escalate the crisis<\/h3>\n

Oil contracts posted significant gains of as much as 7% in the early hours of the morning, with investors turning their attention to the impact of the prolonged stalemate on diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the crisis.<\/p>\n

Pressure on the Greek fuel market

The upward trend in international prices is now also being passed on to the Greek fuel market, with wholesale prices moving to their highest levels since the beginning of the crisis.<\/p>\n

In the retail market, the average price of unleaded petrol reached 2.07 euros per litre, now approaching the 2.10 euro mark.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, a slight deceleration was recorded in the prices of diesel and LPG.<\/p>\n
