Does he think he will attack, insult and blame everyone, but he himself will be above criticism? If he thinks so, he is deeply mistaken“.

In detail, Georgiades’ interview with mononews.gr:

–The renting of a property such as that of Nikos Androulakis from the Land Registry in Crete is not legal?

I have never attributed any illegality to the contract of the Androulakis family’s property with the Land Registry. In fact, from the very first moment I said it was legal. But the question I asked and continue to ask is this: How ethical is it for the Leader of the Opposition to have received €1,200,000 from the Greek State under a contract made under PASOK?

To me it is morally unacceptable for a party leader and potential Prime Minister. Let’s not kid ourselves, even an elementary school child understands these things.

-The President of PASOK says that some people want his moral annihilation. He claims that he did not receive a single euro from the state for the renovation of the building while noting that the income he receives every month from the property amounts to 1,000 euros. What do you think?

I really believe that Mr. Androulakis is in a great panic and we are still only at the beginning. In his attempt to downplay the case he has fallen into a series of lies and contradictions.

Leap one: the Androulakis family and Mr Androulakis do not receive 1,000 euros a month from the state, as he falsely claims. The contract is for a rent of 10,000 euros per month, which is about 85,000 euros per year and a total of 1.2 million euros over 16 years.

Person number two: The rental of the property was not decided under the Karamanlis government, as he falsely claims. The contract with the Land Registry was signed in April 2010, under the PASOK government. Instead of Mr Androulakis telling so many lies and hiding behind cheap excuses that some people want his political extermination, he should come forward with courage and evidence to prove that everything that is being said does not correspond to reality.

-Nikos Androulakis called you a sycophant for referring to the issue and announced that he will take all legal steps to bring those who lie to justice. What is your response?

The characterizations of the President of PASOK and its executives do not touch me at all. Do you know why? Because it shows how cornered and embarrassed they are by everything that has seen the light of day. Mr. Androulakis probably has not understood it well. Does he think that he will attack, insult and accuse everyone, but that he himself will be above criticism? If he thinks so, he is deeply mistaken. So as long as he wants to, we will gladly go to court and see what he claims there.

-Why are you asking for the President of PASOK to appear before the Parliamentary Institutions and Transparency Committee?

After all that has been said, I think we all agree that he should be invited to the Parliamentary Institutions and Transparency Committee with all his contracts, amounts, selection procedures and every relevant document, so that we can look at all this transparently. I don’t think anyone from PASOK has any objection;

Adonis Georgiades came back on the lease of property to the State through mononews.gr, referring to panic and contradictions on the part …

[3

post-5797","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-politics
["GET
