&#8211; which roads are closed (video)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"498\" data-end=\"757\">With temporary traffic restrictions, the <strong data-start=\"581\" data-end=\"616\">&#8220;Historic 2026 Acropolis Rally&#8221;<\/strong> will take place tomorrow (24\/5), as the <strong data-start=\"626\" data-end=\"636\">Police Department<\/strong> announced a series of measures to facilitate the event and ensure the safety of drivers and pedestrians in the centre of Athens. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"759\" data-end=\"933\">These regulations concern specific points around the area of <strong data-start=\"825\" data-end=\"838\">Akropolis<\/strong>, where there will be gradual interruptions to vehicle traffic during the day. <\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"u6y9ds\" data-start=\"935\" data-end=\"995\">Which roads are affected by the traffic regulations<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"997\" data-end=\"1161\">According to the authorities&#8217; announcement, a temporary traffic closure will be in place from <strong data-start=\"1090\" data-end=\"1134\">10:00 in the morning until 20:00 in the evening<\/strong> at the <strong data-start=\"1140\" data-end=\"1160\">Acropolis junction<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1163\" data-end=\"1399\">At the same time, from <strong data-start=\"1182\" data-end=\"1205\">15:00 to 20:00<\/strong>, traffic will be suspended on <strong data-start=\"1237\" data-end=\"1259\">Robert Galli<\/strong> Street, in the section between <strong data-start=\"1297\" data-end=\"1316\">Propylaia Street<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1325\" data-end=\"1346\">Acropolis junction<\/strong>, within the administrative boundaries of <strong data-start=\"1380\" data-end=\"1398\">Municipality of Athens<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1401\" data-end=\"1520\"> The traffic interventions will be implemented gradually, depending on the needs of the event and the progress of the race. <\/p>\n<figure>\n<div class=\"embed-responsive\">  <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"15zd7oo\" data-start=\"1522\" data-end=\"1548\"> The announcement of the EL.AS. <\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1550\" data-end=\"1724\"> The <strong data-start=\"1552\" data-end=\"1562\">E\u039b.A\u03a3.<\/strong> notes that the measures are considered necessary for the smooth conduct of the race and calls on drivers to pay special attention to the instructions of the traffic police. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1764\" data-end=\"2053\"> &#8220;there will be a gradual and temporary suspension of vehicular traffic between 10.00 and 20.00 at the junction of Acropolis and between 15.00 and 20.00 on Roberto Gali Street in the section between Propylaia Street and the junction of Acropolis, in the Municipality of Athens&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2055\" data-end=\"2204\"> At the same time, the Authorities address a recommendation to the public in order to avoid additional problems in the already congested traffic center of the capital. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2206\" data-end=\"2236\">As highlighted, &#8220;For their convenience and to avoid additional traffic problems, drivers are requested to avoid passing their vehicles at the above points during the indicated period and to follow the signals and instructions of traffic regulators.&#8221;
