Haddad <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"145\">managed the Hamas hostage system<\/b> and surrounded himself with hostages in an attempt to prevent its elimination,&#8221; the IDF said.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">He is one of the <b data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"20\">leaders with the longest tenure in Hamas<\/b>, having joined the terror group in its infancy.
