The Minister of Finance<\/b> chose to send a strong message of unity to the inner party<\/b>, stressing that the commitment to the needs of society must be the sole guiding principle of government policy.<\/p>\n
Mr. Pierrakakis<\/b> also contained a direct but clear criticism<\/b> of the phenomena of introversion, personal strategies<\/b> and intra-party disputes that have seen the light of day.<\/p>\n
“Society does not expect us to concern ourselves with ourselves. It is not interested in internal party whispers, narcissism and petty egos<\/b>,” he said, stressing that citizens expect solutions to their daily problems<\/b> and improvement of their lives.<\/p>\n
Kyriakos Pierrakakis<\/b> particularly focused on the expectations of middle class<\/b> and the need for the country to continue its development course<\/b>.<\/p>\n
“There is a struggling society outside, a middle class that wants to live better and a country that wants to move forward. They will judge us by whether we can change their lives<\/b>,” he said.<\/p>\n
The minister also called on party cadres to demonstrate political boldness<\/b>, stressing that “great factions do not win when they look in their own mirror, but when they look at the horizon of the country<\/b>.”<\/p>\n
