“The New Democracy<\/b> is a party that took social politics seriously. We have been actively, not passively, pursuing social policy since 2019,” said Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Domna Michailidou, during the speech <\/b>speech<\/b> at the 16th Conference <\/b>of the ND<\/b>.<\/p>\n

And because we listened to you, we were the first to create the personal assistant<\/b> for People with disabilities.<\/b> We were the first to create the Nannies<\/b> in the neighborhood and the Nanny Grandmothers<\/b>, who are here to serve all families<\/b>, all moms<\/b>, all dads, all the seniors<\/b>, all the households<\/b> that have People with Disabilities<\/b> in them and need an extra hand of their own help, of their own choosing,” he noted.<\/p>\n
“We are the party that because they listened they created the disability card<\/b>, the dignity card<\/b>. So that our fellow citizens who are in a wheelchair<\/b> can move around without constantly opening envelopes<\/b> to prove their disability<\/b>. It is a dignity card,” she added.<\/p>\n
About the support<\/b> measures for the family<\/b>, the minister said: “We are the party that has supported the family<\/b> with family daycare<\/b> like no party before. So that families, through income<\/b>, can have access, can have financing<\/b> to preschools<\/b>.”<\/p>\n
“We are the party that made funding<\/b> a reality. That half the children<\/b> in foundations<\/b> are now in families. And we are both congratulated and proud<\/b> of that,” he noted to add: “We are the party that has managed 30,000 families<\/b> to get their own home<\/b> by giving the bank<\/b> less money than they would give on a rent<\/b>. We are now starting the social consideration and we thank the Armed Forces<\/b> for giving the inactive camps<\/b> to make 2,300 homes.”<\/b><\/p>\n
Finally, speaking about the demographic<\/b>, Ms. Michailidou said that it is at the top of the political agenda<\/b> of prime minister<\/b>, Kyriakos Mitsotakis,<\/b> stressing that “he has created a ministry<\/b> for the demographic<\/b>, for the Greek family, because New Democracy knows that it must work hard<\/b> for everyone and above all for the Greek family<\/b>“.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
