“I feel the need today not to talk about what we do in the department,<\/b> what we work to put into practice, day and night, in the Department of Transport<\/b>. I feel a need coming out of me to talk about the simple NWD<\/b>. For the ordinary party member who has dedicated and identified his life with the party<\/b>,” the Deputy Minister of Transport, Konstantinos Kyranakis.<\/b><\/p>\n
Addressing, he said, those who this year<\/b> made their choice to join the ND family,<\/b> to join the DAP-NDFK<\/b> stressed that “we must all fight<\/b> and justify<\/b> this choice<\/b>“.<\/p>\n
He also wanted to talk about the simple UNNEDite who-when a few years have passed and he finished school and had to go out into society<\/b> to be able to convince groups of people who despise politics<\/b> and parties<\/b> and believe in a world without ideologies<\/b>, in a world without political ideas, he insists on being an UNNEDite. “He insists on expressing himself with a political identity that is pure and clear<\/b>. And he makes the decision, whether in self-government<\/b> or in the central political scene<\/b>, at some point to take the bravest step: to seek a cross<\/b>.”<\/p>\n
He spoke of the “real fighters”<\/b> of the party having in mind, as he pointed out, workers<\/b> in every sector, police<\/b>, members<\/b> of the armed forces, port officials, freelancers<\/b> who each in their own circle feel fingered. “Why? Because he dares to express a political opinion… Because having been labelled as partisan<\/b> he feels he has missed opportunities. He has felt an injustice, a bitterness,<\/b> he has felt that everyone else, the unpolitical<\/b>, the neutral, the indifferent are moving forward<\/b> and he<\/b> is being left behind”<\/b>.<\/p>\n
“So I want to make this man a common promise: that each and every one of us New Democrats<\/b> will always support<\/b> each other. To show in practice what the family of the New Democracy<\/b> means,” Kyranakis said.<\/p>\n
