Akyla’s “Ferto<\/b>” appeared in 6th place in the Eurovision grand finals with Cyprus <\/b>following in 21st place with Antigone and “Jalla”. <\/p>\n

The Greek representative was applauded<\/b> as soon as he stepped onto the stage. The crowd greeted “Ferto” with cheers.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Tonight Europe <\/b>turns its gaze to Vienna<\/b> for the Eurovision grand final, with Akylas ready for the battle for the top spot. The Greek entry has already managed to steal the show and is considered one of the big favourites for this year’s event.<\/p>\n

Akyla with “Ferto” appeared in 6th place in the grand final<\/b> with Cyprus<\/b> following in 21st place with Antigone and “Jalla”. The two entries from Greece and Cyprus are attracting a lot of interest.<\/p>\n

The contenders for the top spot, according to the betting<\/b> companies, are several this year. They include Finland, Italy, Australia and Israel in one of the most competitive finals in recent years.<\/p>\n

The 70th Eurovision culminates tonight at the Wiener Stadthalle in Austria. <\/b>A total of 25 countries will take to the stage and after four hours of music, spectacle and suspense, Europe will find out the big winner in 2026.<\/p>\n

The night kicks off with hosts Victoria Svarowski, Michael Ostrowski and Emily Baswein from the Green Room.<\/p>\n

The final features the ten countries that qualified from the first semi-final, the ten from the second semi-final, the so-called Big 4 – France, UK, Germany and Italy – and last year’s winner Austria.<\/p>\n

Maria Kozakou and Giorgos Kapoutzidis are in charge of the evening’s commentary.<\/p>\n

What’s new with voting<\/h3>\n

Significant changes are in effect this year in the televoting system, as viewers can now vote from the moment the competitive part of the evening starts and do not have to wait until all the performances are over.
The audience can vote:<\/p>\n

  • via SMS<\/li>\n
  • and via the esc platform.vote<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Each user is allowed up to 10 votes, but cannot vote for their country.<\/p>\n
