The Donald Trump<\/b> has come back with new statements about Iran<\/b>, claiming that the country’s military capabilities have been all but neutralized.<\/p>\n
Talking to reporters, American<\/b> president reiterated that “their navy has been destroyed, their air force has been destroyed, almost everything is gone<\/b>.”<\/p>\n
He noted that the key question now is whether the United States “will go ahead and end it” or whether Iran will choose to sign a deal<\/b>. “We’ll see what happens,” he said.<\/p>\n
“We hit them very hard. We may have to hit them even harder, but we may not<\/b>,” he said, speaking at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy graduation ceremony.<\/p>\n
“We will not let Iran get nuclear weapons<\/b>. That’s it. It’s very simple. They want so badly to make a deal, we’ll see what happens.”<\/p>\n
Earlier, Trump had said he was in no hurry to reach a peace deal<\/b> with Tehran, while stressing the importance of developments in the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n
“We would have to open the Strait of Hormuz and that would happen immediately. That is why we will give this process a chance<\/b>,” he said.<\/p>\n
The US president also added that it is better “to see a few dead instead of many,” but added: “We can do it both ways.”<\/p>\n
During his remarks, he also referred to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu<\/b>, saying that “he will do what I want<\/b>.”<\/p>\n
