At the General Hospital Thessaloniki “G. Gennimatas”<\/b> today at the Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis<\/b>, on the occasion of the opening<\/b> of the renovated Emergency Departments<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The visit<\/b> is part of the Health Minister’s<\/b> tours to hospitals<\/b> in Northern Greece, with emphasis on interventions in infrastructure<\/b>, strengthening staff and reducing waiting times.<\/p>\n

Adonis Georgiades<\/b> appeared satisfied with the image of the hospital and claimed that “huge progress<\/b> has been made in recent years”. <\/p>\n

As he said, the budget of Gennimatas General Hospital<\/b> has more than doubled, from \u20ac9.5 million to almost \u20ac20 million<\/b>, while both medical and nursing staff have been significantly strengthened.<\/p>\n
